First off, thank you to our followers for all the interest you have shown in the Up Close & Personal blog series! There is no doubt that being a REALTOR is my primary focus but I will continuously be seeking to meet our local business owners here in Bay Park San Diego and surrounding areas. I love getting to know people and Part II of the series is in fact underway. But first, let me recap and say that I had a great time getting to know our neighbors in a meaningful way especially because they are people whose kids go to school with ours, families I see at the park or the local grocery store, or run into at my coffee breaks, and all the ones I have yet to meet who are making a difference in their own way. Meeting our neighbors through the businesses they run and spreading the word about what they do with our readers is a win-win!
In case you missed an interview, here is a recap of Part I of the Up Close & Personal series:
Bay Park Coffee – organic coffees and teas and scrumptious breakfast/lunch/smoothie options. A great place to hangout overall and owner Ericka Adams loves giving back.
Poseidon Project – local tasting room and hangout and soon to be pizzeria promising a delicious recipe!
Catalina Offshore Products – Sushi and restaurant grade seafood. You would be astonished to learn the awesome restaurants in San Diego that source from them.
Studio Flo Pilates – A super popular Pilates studio for Bay Park, Bay Ho, Clairemont and regulars that drive from afar. They just relocated to a bright open space on Morena and have been nominated for Best Pilates studio of San Diego!
studio b beauty & balance – a newly formed trio of seasoned health & wellness therapists offering massage, facials and fascia treatments. Have you heard the rave about fascia stretching? I tried it with John Vosseller and loved the way it stretched out so many muscles in a new way. Julianna Wida’s massage was extremely healing. Marijo Luranc’s passion for aesthetics is beyond obvious.
Arise Design & Arise Interiors – A creative powerhouse nestled inconspicuously on Clairemont Drive. From beautiful web designs and branding to interior design and architecture masterpieces. They just won San Diego Magazine’s Kitchen of the Year.
Modo Yoga San Diego – The much awaited hot yoga studio of Bay Park, Bay Ho and Clairemont with faithfuls showing up to infuse calm, peace and strength into their busy minds and bodies through the restorative practices.
Hoboken Pizza & Beer – Who knew this East Coast meets West Coast pizzeria institution in PB was owned by our very local Bay Park resident who loves to hang out at Western Hills park?
Do you know an awesome local entrepreneur? Send me a note! 🙂
