Gently used toys still wanted, San Diego!

I was thrilled to be invited to speak at a local Girl Scouts meeting here in Bay Park this week. We talked about consideration, giving, and the girls each brought one of their toys to part with. It was really sweet to see. One of the girls hugged her stuffed animal and wished him a happy life in its new home as she handed it to me 💗 Learning to give at such a young age is such a wonderful lesson in empathy which is also the purpose behind this initiative.

I am still collecting gently used toys until December 18th. Our neighborhood and community’s generosity has filled my garage and office with over 200 toys so far! For those of you wondering where the toys go (several of you asked), I am partnering up once again this year with Omar Passons, who has connections to multiple charities here in San Diego as well as homeless families.
